Food connects us. Potluck makes it easier.
How it works
Potluck takes the pressure off dinner. By connecting neighbors with similar needs, Potluck makes it easier to share the load of shopping, cooking and cleanup, while building real connections along the way.
1
Match
Our matching platform takes stock of your household's preferences and dietary needs as you complete your food profile. With a bit of mixing and a dash of luck, our algorithm will whip up a match for you in your local community.

2
Meet
It's not all about luck, it's about community! Here's where the trust gets built. Once we've found your match, it's time to connect in real life. Grab a real bite to eat together at that new restaurant, or share a cup of coffee at the local coffee shop. Re-establishing trust and building connections within our communities is what Potluck is all about.
3
Swap
Here's where the magic happens. Within the Potluck app, you'll agree on the meals you'll each make (we help with the mental load of it all!) You'll batch cook your meal, your Potluck match batch cooks their meal, and you meet up once more to swap! More variety, more community, and more time for meals that matter.
Like dinner, Potluck is more than just food. It's being fed by community and connection.

Maggie
"The meals made by my Potluck match were delicious and different from what I normally make. Plus, I enjoyed the challenge of making a healthy meal for someone else, which also helped me prepare a healthy meal for my family. It was a win–win."
Brittany
"I participated in one of Potluck's first pilots with a small group of moms I work out with. Potluck gave me the opportunity to strengthen my relationship with one of the fellow moms and also offered our family the opportunity to try new dishes and flavors! We enjoyed the opportunity to diversify our meals, and share our favorite quick, weeknight dinners."
Kristin
"My mental load was significantly reduced. I found I only needed to cook a full meal once a week because my Potluck match made the other meal. Between those 2 meals, the leftovers, and weekend restaurant leftovers, I didn't have to think much about dinner the remainder of the weekdays."

Why it works
We think there's a lot to gain by Potlucking.
Here's some food for thought.
01
Save Time, Energy & Money
Fewer recipes, less effort, more ease. By cooking in batches and sharing meals, you save time and energy—on shopping, prepping and cleanup alike.
And you'll waste less too—no more forgotten ingredients hiding in the back of the fridge.
02
Build Trust & Community
Potluck isn't just about convenience—it's about connection.
Inspired by the spirit of old village, we're helping neighbors build trust through shared meals, small gestures and simple acts of care. From hosting local potlucks to volunteering together, we're bringing "it takes a village" into the modern day.
03
Expand Your Palate and Your Horizons
Potluck keeps dinner from getting dull—swapping routine meals for something new, shared and full of flavor.

It's where family favorites and secret recipes make their rounds, and where every dish tells a story.

The more we share our food, the more we share ourselves—and that's what builds community.
04
Combat Isolation & Loneliness
So many of us are feeling more disconnected than ever. The places where we used to gather have grown quiet, and dinner tables have become smaller.

Potluck uses technology to reverse that trend—to help neighbors reconnect through the simple act of sharing a meal.

One shared dinner at a time, we're rebuilding the sense of belonging we've all been missing.
