1. Participation Agreement

• By signing up for Potluck programs, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in a community-focused experiment designed to promote collaboration and shared responsibilities around meal preparation.

• Your participation is contingent upon providing accurate and truthful information on any forms or surveys you complete.

• Potluck reserves the right to modify or terminate any program at its sole discretion.

2. Data Collection and Use

• Information We Collect:

  • Personal details such as name, email, and dietary preferences.

  • Responses to surveys or forms related to the program.

  • Feedback on your experience during the pilot or beta programs.

• Purpose:

  • To facilitate the matching process for meal swaps in the local pilot.

  • To conduct research and improve Potluck’s concept and offerings.

  • To communicate updates and collect insights for our research.

• Privacy:

  • Your data will be used only for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • Potluck will never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Participation Requirements

• Local Pilot Participants:

  • Commit to batch cooking and exchanging meals for the duration of the program

  • Attend scheduled events, including any introductory meetings

  • Complete all required surveys and provide honest feedback.

• Research Survey Participants:

  • Provide accurate responses to survey questions and understand your responses will be anonymized for research purposes.

• Beta Launch Participants:

  • Use Potluck’s platform according to its guidelines and provide feedback on your user experience.

4. Community Guidelines

To foster a safe and inclusive environment:

• Treat all participants with respect and kindness.

• Share accurate information regarding your dietary restrictions or preferences.

• Communicate openly with your match or group if issues arise during the program.

Potluck reserves the right to remove participants who violate these guidelines or disrupt the program’s integrity.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Potluck, including tip sheets, program guides, website content, and promotional materials, are the intellectual property of Potluck and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

6. Limitations of Liability

Potluck is a community-based experiment, and we cannot guarantee outcomes. Participants acknowledge the following:

• Potluck is not responsible for any allergic reactions, dietary issues, or foodborne illnesses arising from meal swaps.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of meals they prepare and receive.

• Potluck will not be held liable for any disputes or damages arising from participation in its programs.

7. Program Modifications

Potluck reserves the right to modify the structure, timeline, or format of any program (local pilot, research survey, or beta launch) as needed. Participants will be notified of significant changes.

8. Opting Out

You may opt out of any Potluck program at any time by contacting info at joinpotluck dot app. If you choose to opt out, your personal data will no longer be actively used, though anonymized insights may remain in our research.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
