What if lunch (or dinner) at Indy Hall could be even more of a shared experience?

Potluck is launching a private, Indy Hall–only pilot where members can swap meals or lunches, save time, and build community through food.

What is Potluck?

Potluck is a platform that helps people share the work of meals. Instead of cooking every day, members batch-cook when it works for them and swap meals with others in their community.

You cook once. You get multiple meals back.
Less planning, less waste, more variety.

Why Indy Hall?

Indy Hall already believes in shared resources, mutual support, and building real community. Potluck extends that philosophy into everyday life — starting with food.

This pilot is:

  • Private and Indy Hall–only

  • Designed to strengthen connections that already exist

  • Built to be flexible, optional, and low-pressure

Because Indy Hall is a coworking community, this pilot supports:

  • Lunch swaps for workdays

  • Dinner swaps for home life

  • Or both

Whether it’s soup, grain bowls, leftovers done right, or freezer-friendly meals — Potluck helps you and your community flex to how you actually eat.

Here's how we're going to do it!

Join the Experiment

Use this sign up form to enter the raffle during Indy Hall-idays Potluck Party and get on the list to be notified when the pilot officially kicks off.

Cook & Swap

Once you Join the Potluck, you'll set your preferences (dietary needs,  swap interests, lunch vs dinner, location).  Opt into swaps when it works for you and swap meals or lunches with fellow Indy Hall members. No forced pairings. No weekly commitments. You participate when it fits your schedule.

Tell us about it!

Don't be shy! We want to hear what's working (or not) for you and your swaps within the community. We'll reach out periodically to get your feedback to make sure this is something joyful to add to your routine.

Who is this pilot for?

This pilot is a good fit if you:

  • Are tired of deciding what to eat every day

  • Want to eat better without more effort

  • Miss the social side of food while working independently

  • Like being part of thoughtful community experiments

You don’t need to be a “great cook.” Just willing to share.

Still wondering if you should join the Potluck?

01.

Cook once, care twice: Make one meal and get several back. Potluck turns batch cooking into a shared system so lunches and dinners don’t compete with your workday energy.

02.

Turn lunch into connection, not another decision: Every swap is a chance to eat well and feel less alone. Sharing food with fellow Indy Hall members builds trust faster than small talk between meetings.

03.

Add rhythm to your workweek:
What if swapping lunches or dinners became part of your weekly flow? Potluck fits into real schedules, helping meals feel intentional instead of improvised.

04.

Support community without becoming the organizer:
Potluck handles the coordination so connection doesn’t fall on one person. It’s shared infrastructure for care that works even when life and deadlines pile up.

05.

Make meals meaningful, not just efficient:
Potluck is women-founded, Philly-grown, and built for people carrying invisible labor alongside their work. Every swap is a small act of care — and solidarity.

Here are some reasons we think it's worthwhile:
